Dear sugarplum fairy,
Just like the past year, i spent my birthday with Yasin who turned 21 a day before. Though i wasn’t so hyped about it, turning 19 was unexpectedly sweet and overwhelmingly blissful. Thank you god, for a magical birthday.
The boyfriend made me fudgey brownies! Yes, he did. The guy refuses to even cook up an instant something for himself everytime he gets too hungry and theres nothing to eat at home. But how sweet is this guy when he decides he’ll get up early in the morning baking brownies in the midst of crankiness and confusion. After which he presented it to me explaining that it was my ‘birthday cake’. I made a wish to share with the world and blew out my candle. The boyfriend then pulls another stunt by peeling open an envelope with heap loads of cash in it to take me on a shopping spree and for killer seafood at my favourite haunt, Adam Rd. And oh, the brownies were delicious and was truly the best thing about my birthday this year.
I love my Muhammad Yasin.
I didn’t think my birthday ‘07 would be spent with my closest friends and family. 19th May this year reminds me of the people who loves me and that i love back. I am so very blessed.
I’ve sent out a mass email of my wish this year. And this wish was actually to make aware of an organization called: Save the Children to as many people as i could possibly reach in SG. The organization is missioned to change the lives of unfortunate children in the United States and all over the world. I’ve contacted them and i do hope i can bring Save the Children to Singapore for all of us to get involved and help in one way or another. In the meantime, do visit their website and subsribe to their e-newsletter to receive updates about children in crisis and emergencies around the globe. Lets spread the word and help hungry, sick and abused children around the world friends!
Save the children!
